Raccoons love the little native persimmons that grow around here, and one night a mama raccoon took the kids to go raid a tree for fruit. When she’d had enough persimmons, mama managed to get out of the tree with a perfect back-flip dismount (10/10 from all the judges), but when one of the babies tried to get out the same way it didn’t work so well, and mama was apparently in no mood to help.
