This our second compilation of great little clips that won’t make it into our longer narrated videos and are going to wind up on our virtual cutting room floor. Our cutting room floor is knee-deep in great stuff.
In this compilation, we have:
– Screech owls landing on a perch above the dry creek. The slow-motion shots are fascinating.
– And then some surprises on that same perch (it’s a popular spot): A ringtail, a raccoon, and a squirrel.
– More great screech owl clips. – A ringtail at the water bowl, followed by…
– An anxious-looking coyote. Coyotes almost always look anxious when they’re alone.
– Two playful gray foxes racing into the yard at very high speed and then frolicking (there’s no other word for it) out on Dan’s field playscape. One does a great arched-back cat immitation. We’ve never seen that before.

A note about AI:
People have asked us if we use AI to generate or enhance our videos or narrations. We don’t. We never will. We’re probably not techie enough to be able to figure how to create AI videos, but even if we were, we would never publish them on our channel. The critters here are interesting and smart and we don’t need to fake anything.
