You’re supposed to be able to rely on your mama to be nice to you, right? Not to lure you up onto a tall log with the promise of nibbles and affection only to have her casually shove you off the top.
A baby fox’s life is filled with rough and tumble – the little ones play-fight all the time and they’re used to taking a few falls. The parents rarely intervene; they leave their offspring to scuffle and squabble all they want. Perhaps they think it’s beneath them to get involved in the fun? But this mama obviously couldn’t resist.
