The skunks and raccoons around here get along pretty well. We wouldn’t call them bosom buddies, but they tolerate one another, and they share trails and water bowls without conflict or complaint.

Unfortunately for the skunks, though, the raccoons are fascinated by skunk tails – and by the smell of skunk butt. We’ll leave their investigations into skunk butt up to your imagination (for now), since some of our viewers are sensitive souls, but this little video showing a raccoon messing with a skunk’s tail is completely family friendly and really very funny.
