Young gray foxes, like youngsters of most other species (including humans), are full of energy. They seem to have just two speed settings, asleep and really, really fast. Both are a lot of fun to watch.
This little video shows some young gray foxes on their ‘really fast’ setting, playing near the magic tree den. Two of the kits from this past summer’s extended fox family lived in the den for nearly a month and our cameras virtually never stopped recording. They were either asleep in the den or out in the playpen area with their parents and grandfather running, leaping and climbing.
We had a great time watching these fox families and we’ll publish some more videos soon.
