We rarely see barred owls. They’re around, but they don’t visit us here at TBW. So we were surprised and very pleased to capture this great footage of a barred owl on everyone’s favorite above-the-creek perch.
Dan’s cameras caught two different views of the owl arriving, sitting (briefly), and leaving, and his freeze-frame images really show how magnificent this creature is. Beautiful and formidable, both.

We’re probably not techie enough to be able to figure how to create AI videos, but even if we were, we would never publish them on our channel.
