You saw it here first. An immutable law of physics tested and refuted by one small raccoon.
We watched the little guy in this video disappear into a black hole – usually a one-way-only deal – and somehow, after a bit of a struggle, he managed to get back out. Extraordinary. And apparently it was so much fun he had to do it all again.
Seriously though? What was this raccoon thinking? “Maybe there are peanuts down here?” “No way there’s a scorpion or a brown recluse spider in this log.” “It’s quite difficult to squeeze my ample little arse into this hollow stump, but I’m sure I’ll be able to get back out.” Insane.
Dan and I watched this happen in real-time and wondered if we were going to have to go out and help extricate the little fellow but, of course, raccoons can get into everything and they can also get out of (almost) everything, and no human assistance was required.

A note about AI:
People have asked us if we use AI to generate or enhance our videos or narrations. We don’t. We never will. We’re probably not techie enough to be able to figure how to create AI videos, but even if we were, we would never publish them on our channel. The critters here are interesting and smart and we don’t need to fake anything.
