Great horned owls courting and mating up in the live oak tree

A pair of wild Great Horned Owls mates and shows their courting rituals in January 2020 in Texas. After mating each time, the male immediately flies away and then usually returns in about an hour, sometimes with a food gift for the female. They appeared for several hours for five nights, were gone for the next four nights, and then returned for another four nights. They then left and have been completely absent from our area for 10 days. We don’t know whether to expect them to return or not
